As we put together this blog entry, it’s about 75 degrees outside . . . in November! What perfect weather to share ideas for an outdoor shabby chic themed kids party! The images we’re about to present hold great memories of the fun we had plus the gorgeous views and clear skies we enjoyed this summer at Quarry Lakes, Fremont, California. They are photos of Ihino‘s daughter’s birthday party. So, those of you with summer babies: get ready to be inspired and let the party planning begin! Oh trust us, it’s never too early to start when you care about details and personalization.
We made five “birthday cards” for each letter in Monica’s name and assigned a card to each picnic table for guests to sign. The cards were a lot of fun to make and so was the dessert table backdrop board shown in some of the previous photos. Regarding that backdrop, let’s just say Home Depot was our second home for a while, lol.
Now, let the fun and games begin!
In the end, fun was had by all! These beautiful images were made possible by Bay Area photographer, Ian Lee Photography who came out to work on his birthday. Thanks Ian, hope you had a fun celebration later on! The birthday cakes and cookies were made by Sugarsweet Cookie + Cake Studio in Oakland.
